Pratia Kraków in Poland remains one of our most experienced and versatile Research Centers, with a long history of delivering advanced Clinical Trials across hematology, oncology and multiple specialty areas.

Originally established in 1995 under the MCM brand, the Kraków site joined Pratia in 2018. Many colleagues who built the center’s reputation over the past three decades continue to lead its scientific and operational progress today.

  • A multidisciplinary oncology center with hematology, oncology, surgery, radiotherapy, radiology and psychological care in one location

  • A specialist medical center offering rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, angiology, orthopedics, cardiology, ultrasound, capillaroscopy and densitometry

  • Full laboratory and imaging capabilities on-site or with certified vendors.

Pratia Kraków is led clinically by Principal Investigator Professor Wojciech Jurczak, MD, PhD, whose expertise and long-standing leadership in hematology continue to guide the site’s scientific direction. Alongside him stands a distinguished group of Investigators and Physicians, including Prof. Monika Długosz-Danecka, MD, PhD, Ewa Pietrusza, MD, PhD, Marek Rodzaj, MD, PhD, Iwona Grygoruk Wiśniowska, MD, PhD, Anna Drosik-Kwaśniewska, MD, PhD, Małgorzata Osielczak MD, as well as Anna Sawiec, MD, PhD, Medical Manager and Sviatoslav Grekh, Site Quality Leader. Their collective experience ensures consistently high standards of medical oversight.

The site’s operational success is coordinated by Site Manager Marta Gołosz, who leads a dedicated team of Study Nurses, Study Coordinators, Pharmacists, Study Coordinators and operational specialists. Together, they deliver each Clinical Trial with precision, safety and an unwavering focus on every Patient.

A year of global accolades and scientific milestones

Pratia Kraków celebrates an exceptional year of scientific recognition. The site contributed to 24 scientific works accepted to ASH 2025, including multiple multi-center Clinical Trials co-authored by Professor Jurczak. ASH (American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting) is the world’s leading congress in hematology. Only the most rigorous and impactful findings earn a place on its scientific program, making this achievement a significant milestone for our site and our network.

Beyond ASH, the site secured several standout recognitions this year, including:

First in the world

  • to engage a Patient in a pivotal Clinical Trial for aggressive Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma.

  • to randomize a Patient in a demanding Clinical Trial for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia with heart failure, led by Prof. Monika Długosz-Danecka and supported by Main Study Coordinator Jowita Obrzud, Coordinating Pharmacist Paulina Smoleń and Coordinating Nurse Patrycja Dybał.

2nd globally in Patient Recruitment

  • in a Clinical Trial for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).

Partnerships with academic institutions

The site  also supports the next generation of Clinical Trials specialists through strong partnerships with two leading Kraków universities: Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Medicum and Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University. Students from both postgraduate programs gain hands-on experience at our Research Site, learning directly from Investigators, Study Teams and operational experts.
